My name is Miika Korkatti, and I am a 32-year-old professional performer from Tampere, Finland. Over the years, I have become Finland’s most sought-after professional magician and a familiar face in the Finnish business world.
My magic is a popular act for both private parties and corporate events. In addition to performing in Finland, my magic has taken me to a variety of exotic locations, from European magician clubs to the jungles of Africa.
Finnish championship in four years
In 2017, I rose to the spotlight of the Finnish magic scene by winning my first national championship medal after just four years of experience as a magician. So far, no other magician has achieved the same.
Over the years, I have participated in industry competitions a total of five times, winning four gold medals and one silver.

Origin story
Calling of a magician
Unlike most magicians, my first encounter with magic happened in adulthood. In 2013, at the age of 20, I met a skilled close-up magician at a gathering whose magic shook my entire worldview.
The emotions I experienced that night have significantly influenced my perception of what magic should look like as an art form. Previously, I had regarded magic as cheap tricks and pranks suitable only for children. And if you’ve ever seen a magician, you might recognize this perception. However, what I experienced at that gathering was far from these associations.
The intensity of that experience was such that the very next day, I began passionately studying magic. I am living proof of how encountering the impossible can change the course of one’s life – in my case, the world of magic swept over me like a tsunami. I felt compelled to learn the skills and abilities that would allow me to offer the same magical experience to others.
